I wish I’d seen this BEFORE my birthday had come and gone. Yes, it was my 30th birthday (Sep 1st),Warhol Inspired Satchel Purse and no, I don’t see why someone of my now advanced age wouldn’t carry a purse with a crazy Warhol-inspired pattern all over it and a banana keychain.

I have way too many bags, despite having gotten rid of all but 3 at this time last year. I think I’m now up to 6 or 7 — four purses, one backpack, and one big totebag. Oh wait, and hubby got me a laptop bag. That’s 8. I guess I’m just a bag lady or something. Logic tells me that I can only use one purse at a time, but I have to have 3 black purses (all Coach - my mom gets rid of them and they’re almost NEW, so I can’t pass them up. Unless they’re super ugly. I admit, I could have had a Louis Vuitton, but those are so hideous that I declined.) The reason I need so many is that they’re not all the same. I swear it. And I have my everyday carryall thing — which really isn’t a purse, but it stopped me from lugging a big messenger bag around all the time, which I did until a year or two ago. I have to be able to carrry not only my PDA, phone, wallet, and keys, but also a paperback book and a flashlight. Why? Because you never know when you might need something to read, and you’d be amazed how handy it is to always have a flashlight.

I turned 27 does that make me too old to carry a purse made of duct tape with a monkey on it?

Of course not! That’s basically what I was trying to say. Duct tape with a mokey on it? That’s awesome!
